FACTS Book of the Month is, “The Money Book for the YOUNG, FABULOUS, & BROKE(YFB)”, authored by financial guru Suze Orman. Do not be fooled by the title of the #1 New York Times Best Selling Author’s book because there are a lot of OLD, FABULOUS, and BROKE people too! If any lesson can be taught about getting into debt and making bad financial decisions one only needs to look at the causes of a $700 billion bailout package sponsored by the government. It is very easy to get into debt and one needs to work at least twice as hard to get out of it. Suze Orman can help you start a plan to get out of debt or better yet not get into debt at all!
While I am not a true disciple of the Ormanian doctrine, this book has a lot of merit in its style, authenticity, and accuracy of its content. YFB is written in a referential style, meaning you can read the book end-to-end or you can reference it when you are a looking for a specific topic. It is also written in a question and answer format which will allow you to understand what financial problem you may have and a solution towards resolving it. The book has a lot of flavor in its writing style where the facts are presented in a very captivating and charismatic way. This is a must read for everyone no matter what your age or financial status is. Know the FACTS!
